Your cycle,
privately yours.
Aurel tracks your cycle with calm clarity. Your data lives on your phone — not on someone's servers, not in an ad profile. Just yours.
Local-first. No account required. No ads. Ever.
Privacy, specifically
Not a policy.
A product decision.
Most apps collect your health data and call it "improving your experience." We built Aurel around a different assumption: your cycle is none of our business.
Local-first, always
Your period data lives on your phone. It doesn't leave unless you explicitly choose to back it up — and even then, it's encrypted before it goes anywhere.
No ads. Not ever.
We're not an ad business. We don't have advertisers, we don't have data brokers, and we have no financial reason to share your health information. That's the point.
No account required
You can use Aurel indefinitely without creating an account. No email, no sign-up, no profile. An account is only needed if you want optional cloud backup — and only then.
Plain-language privacy
No legal maze. The app shows you exactly what it stores — on a single screen, in plain English. You can delete everything with one tap, anytime.
No third-party trackers
No analytics SDKs that leak your usage data. No crash reporters that send device information. No SDKs you didn't ask for. What you do in Aurel stays in Aurel.
Your data, exportable
You can export all your cycle data as a clean file anytime. No lock-in, no friction. If you leave, you take everything with you.
What it does
A small number of things,
done very well.
Aurel is not trying to be a health platform, a social app, or a wellness subscription. It tracks your cycle, helps you understand your patterns, and gets out of the way.
Cycle calendar
See your full cycle at a glance — period days, fertile window estimate, luteal phase. Clean, readable, no clutter.
Accurate predictions
Predicts your next period using a rolling average of your own cycles. Works for regular and irregular cycles, and always shows confidence.
Symptom tracking
Log physical and emotional patterns — cramps, mood, energy, headaches, and more. Curated, not overwhelming. Helps you connect the dots over time.
Cycle insights
Understand your patterns over time — average cycle length, typical period duration, and how your body changes across cycles. Calm, factual, not alarmist.
Simple logging
Log in seconds. Tap to start a period, note flow level, add a symptom or note. Designed to fit into your day, not demand it.
Privacy controls
Passcode and biometric lock. One-tap data wipe. Plain-language data summary. Export your data anytime. You're always in control.
How it compares
Built differently, by design.

"We built Aurel because menstruation is a stable, private part of human life — and the apps that track it shouldn't treat it as a business opportunity."
MonKilo Ventures — founders' note
Your cycle data never leaves your phone unless you turn on cloud backup.
We don't run ads. We don't sell data. We never will. Our only revenue is you buying the app.
No manipulation. No streaks. No guilt notifications. No engagement traps. We don't benefit from making you anxious.
If Aurel is ever acquired, we will notify you and give you a 60-day window to export your data before any policy changes.
We are medically careful. Aurel provides personal tracking and pattern awareness — not medical diagnosis, not fertility guidance.
The app works fully without an internet connection. Always.

Questions
Common questions, straight answers.
Since your data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app removes everything. There is nothing on our servers to delete because, by default, nothing went there. If you opted into cloud backup, you can also delete your account from within the app before uninstalling, which permanently removes your encrypted backup.
No. The core app is a one-time purchase. Cloud backup is an optional low-cost annual add-on. There is no free tier that degrades over time, no premium paywall hiding basic features, and no subscription pressure.
We believe period tracking is a tool, not a service — and tools should be purchased, not rented.
Aurel uses a rolling average of your own logged cycles, which becomes more accurate the more you log. It works for regular and irregular cycles, and it always shows a confidence level — not a single number presented as certain fact.
Aurel is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. Predictions improve over time, and we will always be transparent when there is not enough data to make a reliable estimate.
Because your data is stored locally on your device by default, we have nothing to hand over. We do not have access to your cycle data, period. If you enable cloud backup, your data is encrypted before it leaves your phone with a key we do not hold — so even then, we cannot read it or provide meaningful data in response to requests.
This is a deliberate architectural decision. We structured the product this way so that we genuinely cannot be a threat to our users' safety.
Yes. Aurel is built with variability in mind. It uses a rolling average with clear confidence indicators, so if your cycles vary significantly, the app will show you a range rather than a single predicted date — and it will tell you why.
We are also careful not to frame irregularity as a problem. Cycle variation is normal and common. The app reflects your data without judgment.
We are building the iOS app now. Waitlist members will be notified first and receive early-adopter pricing. We are targeting a 2026 launch, with Android to follow.
We are not going to rush it. A privacy-first product requires a careful, thorough build and review process — and we would rather launch right than launch fast.
